Electrical Assembler
Overview
A great opportunity has come up to join our Marine & Build to Print Division.
Purpose of the Role
The individual will be tasked with building, wiring and integration of electrical control panels, distribution boxes, looms and harnesses according to drawings and specifications. The role requires soldering, crimping, and high standard wiring for the UK and Worldwide marketplace.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Wire Bespoke electrical instrument panels
- Wire and assemble bespoke AC/DC panels
- Wire and assemble mains distribution boxes
- Assemble bespoke PCBs and sub-assemblies
- Execute heavy duty cable and loom assemblies
- Read, interpret and work from electrical schematics
- Flag material shortages or drawing queries immediately
- Manage workload to meet time sensitive production targets
- Maintain clean and tidy work areas following health and safety policies
Requirements
- Electrical assembly experience preferred but not essential
Desirable
- Strong understanding of electrical wiring symbols and diagrams
- Proficient with various hand tools such as soldering irons, crimping tools, power tools
- High attention to detail with a quality over quantity mindset
- Good Communication skills to explain differences within issued drawings
- Practical, hands-on can-do attitude
